Comments
Comments: I did an out and back from the Kanc. The trail is well packed and snowshoes were not needed today. I used spikes most of the day but switched to crampons on the steep section when coming down off the ridge. I think many people would be comfortable with spikes there especially since there were frequently steps kicked in to the side of trail but I preferred the crampons so I could move a bit faster without worry.
