Great day out there! The trail is a highway and spikes were more than sufficient, though I saw a couple people in snowshoes. Toward the end of the day there was enough melt that I was sliding a bit in my spikes, but not postholing yet. May want to consider snowshoes for this warm week. Went up south with no issues other than I thought my heart might explode and slid/walked/fell down north. Weather couldn't have been better. |
