Absolute beautiful day! Winds weren't as bad as advertised....still cold but bluebird skies. Views were amazing. Went CCW South 1st. Summit was mind numbing cold with wind but drop down to outlook....no wind sunny warm + 20 at least. I bear booted to South only because I left my Hillsounds in a spot I wouldn't forget them....dumbass. I was the only one in snow shoes today spikes were the way to go. Shoes from South over to North then off at loop junction. Trail is a sidewalk, well packed easy walking. Just a great day to be in the woods!
Shout Out to James who finished his 48 in 1 Winter Season on South...Impressive!!! |
