Water Crossing Notes: The old footbridge over Mill Brook has been replaced with a brand new one. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Thanks to the city for lots of new improvements out here! Aside from the new footbridge, there are also updated trail signs at important junctions and new interpretive signs at key spots. Unfortunately, the new sign at the wildlife viewing platform has already been spray painted. :( There is one minor blowdown on the Red Trail just west of the platform. The former wet and eroded section at the start of the Red Trail has been completely rebuilt with better drainage.

Comments
Comments: This was a local walk to break up the work day and I underestimated these trails, thinking they would be mostly bare, but they ended up being mostly solid ice monorail once past the brook. I didn't feel like going back to the car to get spikes so I carefully barebooted this loop. Where it wasn't icy it was either wet, dry or muddy. Mill brook is flowing nicely right now.
