Comments
Comments: The plan was Hale, Zealand, and the Bonds. I got the first two while my friend got all five. Bare boots on Zealand Road to Hale Brook Trail. Used the snowshoes up to Hale and over to Zealand. Could have gone with light traction all day but when given the choice of heel lifts or no heel lifts I often choose them. I was gassed and instead of continuing on and holding up my friend we split up - I went back to the car at 302 and he went to the car at Lincoln Woods. I kept my snowshoes on until the hut and then went with light traction to the summer parking lot. Bare boots back to the car. My friend went with snowshoes down to the Wildwrness Trail and bare boots out to Lincoln Woods.
