Comments
Comments: Conditions were great for this hike on Friday. I wore Hillsounds for the day. There was some fresh snow in places but not quite enough that I wanted to put on snow shoes. Lend A Hand was very choppy and snow shoes might have been unpleasant. The section between Guyot and South Twins was tracked out which made it easy to follow but it is still difficult with many bend overs to go around, under or through. It was soft and snow shoes would be the best choice here. The snow was slushy at lower elevations on the Gale River trail and there were lots of blow downs. A really good day! Thanks for the car spot Phil and Jo.
