There are two good trail reports from a few days ago on this website, and here’s a short update. Packed snow made for fast hiking. Some minor drifts near the summit of Whiteface, but doable in spikes, in my opinion. I was the first one on the trail today, and did all miles in microspikes. I saw ~6 hikers on my way out, some wearing snowshoes, most wearing spikes. |
