Comments
Comments: Perfect conditions for Owls. Entire trail packed hard. Most people just used spikes which was all that was necessary. I used snowshoes on Brutus for the televators and better grip descending. But spikes would have fine too. So much snow on the ridge views of Lincoln and Lafayette were great. And just off the summit we had great views through the trees of the Bonds and even the cone of Washington. If you want to do Owls Head now is the time.
