Comments
Comments: This was just a walk 0.7 mi. up the trail to check out the "restoration" of the former route of the trail. The old relocation has been closed and the trail has been put back on its old route, which now requires crossing Champney Brook twice (may be difficult at high water). The relocation completely avoided these crossings, and I assume it was closed due to ongoing erosion.
