Comments
Comments: three ponds snowmobile tracked. kineo had a good snowshoe track with quick walking. i utilized zporters route following the trail to where it joins a snomo trail, followed the snomo trail portion a short distance and jumped off for the bushwhwack utilizing his tracks heading up from the northeast. pretty steep the first couple hundred feet and then the grade moderated with a couple ups and downs before reaching the summit and recognized highpoint. given the snow conditions i took a more direct route down from the summit heading east and turning more south once off the steeps to intersect kineo trail. snow was firm with a light wet layer on top higher up, but punchier as i neared the trail. followed kineo trail back out.
