Comments
Comments: No snow until about 1.5 mile up Valley Way. Microspikes to treeline. No major snow above treeline until the snowfield on the north side of Jefferson. Used Crampons for that crossing. On Jewell Trail put snowshoes on once in the trees. Lots of postholes unfortunately on this section of the Jewell trail. monorail becoming unstable.
Another great day to be in the alpine zone.
