Comments
Comments: We skied in Haystack Rd then put on spikes for North Twin trail until the Fire Warden path. At the point we switched to snowshoes for the hike up to Hale.

Haystack Rd was icy and not great conditions for skiing but we were still happy with our choice. North Twin trail is well packed and spikes were fine. The Fire Warden path was fairly well packed but lower down had a crusty surface that would hold us on top briefly before our snowshoes would break through about an inch. So that bottom half was slightly annoying for that reason. Once we got about halfway up the path was solid.
