Comments
Comments: Amazing day, though unseasonably warm, giving a taste of spring. Used snowshoes heading up in dense fog and then switched to spikes after traversing the bony Gulfside for a bit. Snow balled up under showshoes coming up jewell. There are short sections of drifts along the gulfside, but snowshoes is a bit overkill. We started packing up to head back from Jefferson when the clouds parted and we finally got a view and some visibility. Wind completely died when the sun came out and I wanted to change into shorts and a T. Put showshoes back on coming down the cog. Snowshoes started sinking in a few inches around noon after we passed Jacob's ladder. Creepy cog moose really smells right now. I have a nice tan on my face :)
