Comments
Comments: I wore snowshoes start to finish-it was warm, the snow was soft heading up Crawford Path. Morning started off in some intense summit fog-difficult time seeing above tree line. I already gridded out Pierce so I headed right over to Eisenhower-there was a lot of drifting but pretty easy to stay on trail. There were a few places where the trail split a little but whatever you choose to take you should end up back on track. Once on Eisenhower the clouds cleared for a BEAUTIFUL MORNING! On my backtrack I bumped into another person heading to Eisenhower wearing snowshoes. Back on Crawford Path I bumped into a few other hikers on my way down. Lots of snow dumping onto trail from the trees from the warm temps. Beautiful day in the Presidentials--This hike gridded out Eisenhower for me.
