500 highest peak. Essentially followed trip report from Feb 28, diving into the woods at a second small bridge. Previous track was barely visible but trackable for approx a mile. Beyond that I just broke trail in 3 inch deep crusty snow during the ascent and mushy spring snow for the descent. The summit does have several false high points... the true high point has a register. Beautiful open woods. Partially obstructed views. |
