Excellent day for the Owl. The trail is in perfect condition with only a couple of duck unders. The trail is a packed super highway and was able to use microspikes until about a 1/4 of the way up the Brutus bushwhack, then put snowshoes on to the summit. Descending Brutus was fine but the trail in spots is like a luge track but took my time and had no issue. Micros back on after 1st water crossing for duration of hike. It was nice to see a familiar hiker out there today.
