 | Comments: |
Falling waters was all hard packed snow with no ice. Ice tools went for a ride. We enjoyed the heel-evators on our snowshoes until shining rock jct where we switched to hillsounds (I used their micros and my friend used their hiking crampons - either would be fine) to cross the ridge. OBP was also hard-packed snow with no ice. There were some drifts coming down from Lafayette, which was to be expected with the recent snow and winds. Great day - great conditions - great company. |
