Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Breakable Crust
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Two small stream crossings, both easy.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Tudor Trail: One large blowdown that has been trimmed for easy ducking under. Bald Mountain Trail: One minor blowdown. Tamposi Trail: Numerous blowdowns including one large tangle below the Spur Trail junction which requires going around. Speaking of Spur Trail, I didn't hike it today but it remains in a quasi-abandoned state, being overgrown and hard to follow. I will still describe it in the AMC Southern NH Guide for the time being if anyone wants the adventure.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Sure, but they are advised to be leashed as this is a NH Audubon property.
Bugs
Bugs: Nope.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: All trails were frozen snow but there was also a lot of bare ground, especially in sunny areas. There were some areas of ice but nothing to be concerned with. Spikes were perfect today but that will change with the rain and warmer weather due this week, which will be sure to affect the snowpack. The Willard Pond outlook ledges were still snow-covered but the south ledges were more bare. Excellent views as always from these locations.
