 | Comments: |
We did this one in a counter-clockwise direction on firm styrofoam-type snow using light traction without sinking in. At approximately 1,800' the snow changed to a couple of inches of soft powder and we put on our snowshoes from here and over the summit until hitting this elevation again on the decent where we switched back to light traction. Surface should remain in good condition until later in the week when it warms. Great day to be out in the cold and clear day. |
