Comments
Comments: Did this one solo to check-off the leap day box on the calendar. There was some fresh snow all along the way - about an inch or two down low and maybe 6 - 10 inches higher up. I was the first one out but the breaking was easy. Got passed by a larger group when I stopped to cut back the branches of a blowdown. The Carriage Road was packed by others who had come up that way. Zero visibility once I broke treeline - had to go cairn to cairn and from memory. There was a couple ahead of me but I couldn’t see them until I was about 15 feet away. The wind erased my steps within a few minutes. Had planned to go over to Blue but didn’t feel like having the wind in my face the whole way back. Went up to South on the way back. The summit couple started breaking trail up that way - one stopped pretty soon after the start and then I saw the other one coming down (“I didn’t get to the top”) so I (easily] finished it up. The sledding down Glencliff was incredible - was able to sled about 80% of it.
