| Comments: |
First ascent was packed powder, pretty easy to navigate, shoe shoes nice but not essential. Snow shoes needed in presidential dry river wilderness. Did not make it past junction of rocky branch in isolation. After first turn off to rocky branch ridge trail only broken by one person, 6" of loose powder and a very tight trail (this is where it has been diverted recently). We reached the isolation trailhead in 3 hours, but had to turn back because trail was unbroken, overgrown and extremely difficult to trace because of heavy snow accumulation. |
