Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: (trail maintainer of Lincoln Brook) Four blowdowns removed. I left the snow laden leaners on the trail for now, they should straighten up in spring. There is one widow maker between crossing 1&2 which I am reaching out to some friends - too dangerous for me to take out solo (axe/crosscut) Happy to see several drainages still running!

Comments
Comments: If you are looking to PR owls head, this is the time for it! Bare boot to black pond, spikes along the whack, snowshoes the rest of the way. Trails are literally a super highway. Plenty of snowshoe traffic and its currently 14 in N Woodstock so it should freeze up great. Black Pond whack is super far to the right and wonky, but it was broke so awesome. Brutus is also very wonky, it enters the trailbed about 300 feet higher than normal.I ended up breaking from trailbed to summit. There is a new blowdown and a view of the Bonds that appeared in the last month, enjoy!

Back at it tomorrow, gridiot style!
