2-4" down low but quickly got deeper as we climbed to the ridge. About 8-12" near the ridge and some spots along the ridge. Didnt seem so deep along the ridge.Guessing the windy took a bunch away. We started behind 4 other and passed them about 1/2 way to the ridge spreading the trail breaking efforts and laying down a nice snowshoe track. We met 2 nice girls at the summit. They came up and returned the Carter-Moriah trail so both trails should be good to go. Pleased be courteous to others and wear your snowshoes. The trail is very soft like sugar and bare booting is not an option. Saw some sun today down low but in the clouds when we reached the summit. It was a great hike anyway with great friends. |
