 | Comments: |
The half mile walk on South Rd. to the trailhead is packed solid by snowmobiles. The hiking trail was also frozen solid. The last 0.1 mi. of the snowshoe track deviates from the actual route and leads past an interesting and likely unauthorized "memorial tree".
Great views as always from the summit although the Vermont peaks were in the clouds. Spikes are the perfect choice of footwear for this hike right now. |
