The trails were well packed but a little soft at lower elevation and the last couple miles. I post holed whenever I stepped to close to the trail edge and there a number of other post holes the last mile or so. Higher up, trails were solid. I used Hillsounds for the entire hike and they were fine. Coming down South Hancock the trail was luge track. Hard to even walk into it.....so I didn’t. I didn’t start until 1pm and after the first half mile, I didn’t see anyone else.l for the rest of the hike. |
