I immediately turned left onto a snowmobile trail to cross the brook. I walked the snowmobile trail for a short distance to a height of land, where I turned and began slabbing towards Nickerson Mountain. I climbed steeply up the north ridge of Nickerson in soft spring snow. From the communications tower, I took a snowmobile trail towards the Grant col and then acceded the peak to the recognized summit. |
