The road up to the parking area was free of ice and snow. The lot itself was half plowed and half drive-over snow. |

The trail is well packed throughout. We used snowshoes the entire day but others we talked with had used spikes then swapped to bareboots when balling became a problem in the afternoon. They didn't seem to have trouble other than one or two post holes later in the afternoon. Overall it's in good condition. We used the Engine Hill bushwhack but did not use the Iso Express bushwhack since it wasn't broken out and with snow coming soon our effort wouldn't have benefited future hikers. |
