Most of us used snowshoes the entire day. Two of our group used spikes and did fine. Others we passed were about evenly split between snowshoes, spikes, or crampons. It seems like any of the options were reasonable. We went up Ammo did an out/back to Monroe then summited Washington and went down the Cog. The summit areas had some crusty snow/ice but everything was easy to traverse. All trails are fairly well packed. CONGRATULATION TO BILLY FREITAS WHO FINISHED HIS GRID TODAY!!! |
