Trail is packed enough that you're not likely to post hole knee deep if you stick to the center of the trail. However, there's 1-3 inches of soft powder as folks go over it in their microspikes and crampons. It really could use more snowshoer's to smooth it out and truly pack it down. You'll make it with microspikes and/or crampons, but the trail really would benefit from snowshoes. Coming down was very soft. |
