| Comments: |
once on the gale river tr. I found a track from someone either thurs. or fri. that went almost to the hut before he or she turned around. must have tired from the hard work. that meant I had to break from there to the galehead summit. the frost trail had much deep snow and I lost a shoe for a while.it was tiring work breaking trail! on my return I ran into "pepper and me" and we had a nice talk. 3 other hikers were barebooting and did a helluva lot of damage to the trail which was even more tiring work. but it was a nice day and I now have 20 peaks done of the 48 at 70+. |
