Comments
Comments: I was the first one up the trail. My first time on the Crawford Path. It was in great shape. Encountered a few low drift areas that I broke. Weather was cold but very nice. Got to treeline and the wind and weather changed dramatically. Put on a full mountain gear. Trail quickly turned into drifts 3-6 feet tall. It was hard to follow the trail. I had not done this trail before and was solo so I decided to turn back to be safe. I passed about two dozen people on the way down. Many without snow shoes or traction. Trail got some post holes and chewed up some. Awesome day on the oldest trail in America!!!!
