Comments
Comments: Broke trail today up to Scaur Ridge junction. First 2 miles to Wilderness sign about 6 inches. Once the climb begin it was 6 down low with long stretches of 18+ inches or more of powder. The two of us in our group wore snowshoes car to car. Trail is not at all consolidated until Scaur ridge, from there trail is firm and well broken up to Middle Tripyramid. 2 coming up late in afternoon in spikes were going to have challenges getting up the steeps. Highly suggest snowshoes tomorrow as those 3.2 miles are very soft and trail is not well broken on steeps
