Comments
Comments: I broke trail most of the way, I was able to follow previous pack for most of it. I believe I ended up on the Brutus BW off of Lincoln Brook, navigating was slightly more challenging than usual with the fresh snow on unmarked trails. I think I lost the previous path while ascending Brutus in some drifts, not sure if I went the right way, or if there even is one? But, there are only a few bushy spots and it does reconnect with the previous path. I passed two hikers coming up the bushwhack I left behind, so at least three people have reached the peak now. We all had snowshoes on, so the trail is mostly likely loosely packed at the moment. Due to fatigue, I took my snowshoes off on Lincoln Woods Trail and had no issues there.
