Three people on the trail today. The first wore no traction control at all and destroyed multiple broken out sections. Where the trail crosses the quarter mile section of steep ridge, just below the turns,it's so broken up as to be dangerous.
When I ran into him, I asked if he really found it easier to hike without snowshoes. He said no, he wished he'd have brought his. Unasked was why he would think no snowshoes are necessary 48 hours after picking up a new foot of snow.
All else was fine. |
