Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Snowpack is pretty high up on the ridge, resulting in some duckunders in the section just past the Webster Cliff Trail junction. Fair amount of wandering and a couple of false tracks. Slow going through those trees.

Comments
Comments: Crawford Path up to Pierce is packed as usual. Wore snowshoes the whole way, but spikes would have been fine for that much. I'd say snowshoes are a necessity beyond the junction with Webster Cliff Trail. There is a fair amount of drifting and the trail is a bit hard to follow. Was glad to have an axe because of the wind and for steep bits, though poles would also have done fine. Full face and eye coverage were needed today as well. A bit tough to distinguish cairns from trees, but visibility was good enough that it didn't matter a whole lot. Crawford Path didn't seem broken at all beyond Eisenhower. Tomorrow will definitely be a snowshoe day with snow expected!
