Surface Conditions: Ice - Blue, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One water crossing on Dicey’s Mill Trail, we put crampons on to cross on rocks, did not want to cross on the tree laying across it.

Dog-Related Notes: Met one dog but doubt it could make it up the two icy ledges going up Whiteface, luckily it wasn’t on that trail we met the dog.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Saw a black hat hanging on a tree, some stuff in the Lost and Found box at Ferncroft parking lot. A lot of glasses.

Comments: Blueberry Ledge Trail, to Whiteface, traverse to Passaconaway, down Dicey’s Mill Trail to Ferncroft parking lot

Hike was fairly smooth going except for two icy ledges going up which really needed an ice axe.
