| Comments: |
Initial section of Livermore is groomed and part of Watervilles Xc ski network [snowshoes or skis mandated]. After first couple miles snowshoes definitely needed. Didnt look like anyone had been through Scaur Ridge in a while, and snow was deep. Slow going breaking that out. Once you connect with Pine Bend Brook trail, its smooth sailing up well packed trail. Some might want more traction when descending back down N. Tripyramid as there are a couple steep sections, but stuck with snowshoes and fared ok. |
