What a great day to be out and that trail is so stinking hard. The slides were crazy, as always and I wished that I brought poles. We used spikes until the saddle and changed to snowshoes for the rest. Wow. That is such a hard hike in winter. We met awesome dogs and people who inspired us to keep going. The temps were in the high teens but luckily not much wind. A few great views but socked in at Osceola. It's okay. Sometimes it's the adventure and not the view. A good day in the Whites. |
