Wonderful Loop and great conditions. All four of us started with spikes but the snow was less packed once we went down into the Piper/Belknap Col, so after ascending/summiting Belknap I switched to snowshoes for rest of the day. They weren’t needed on Gunstock Mtn. Tr.. Very busy at the Gunstock summit but always nice views into the Ossippees and just a little into the Whites through low clouds. |
