Comments
Comments: Snowshoes the entire way. Trail was packed up to the hut, but still soft. After hut, trail was much softer. The hikers we saw early on were all wearing snowshoes, and the it was soft, smooth, and pleasant conditions...until the "Massachusetts Microspikers" came up on our way down and left divots in the trail. Made the way down more challenging. The steep areas had lots of ice exposed. Despite this, it was clear skies, a winter wonderland and fun hike with Gypsy Hiker and Tara.
