We broke trail up Airline, wearing snowshoes from the trailhead till we went above treeline. Snowshoes are recommended for Airline. We had a small group, so we didn't pack down the trail that much.
After we went above treeline, we switched to spikes. We summited Adams via Airline, then followed Airline and then Gulfside down to the Madison Hut, and then did an out-and-back to Madison. We descended via Valley Way, which was in good shape. |
