Comments
Comments: Thru the gate, across the woods road onto an old corridor that was growing in with young trees.
That got us back to woods road which we followed up a ways til it petered out. After skirting a patchy area of prickers and shrubs, we bushwhacked up and over a knoll to the ridge to the summit. Continued along the ridge a ways just cuz.
Back out the way we came. But near the end we continued down the woods road and across the causeway thru the marsh by 4A on the woods road back to the gate, which was easier for the first part.

4-7" of fresh powder over a previous crusty (breakable) base.
