Comments
Comments: Snowshoes all day. Ski trail to old path very smooth, I snowshoed off to the side. Couple inches of loose powder on old path.... nice trench forming. Televators very helpful to the col. Took a right and headed up south first. Great bluebird sky views from the ledge and summit. Then went over to north... very steep, thankful for the Tubbs flex alps. Handful of skiers at the summit. Very nice people. Checked out the view behind the cabin into Maine then went back down via old path to col and back to Doublehead ski trail. Didn’t see any skiers on the way out but made sure to stay well off to the side. Excellent day... I only saw one other snowshoe hiker and to micro-spikes. Trails are in good shape.
