 | Comments: |
We walked the road, turning onto the road that heads towards the pond. We bushwhacked to the main peak/middle peak col and then climbed reasonable grades to the summit. We backtracked to the col and followed the ridge to the other two peaks. To return, we picked up the road southwest of the northwest peak. From the spur road that crosses bog brook to the east of Kittredge, we bushwhacked up to the Greenway south of the summit. We followed the trail to its height of land and did the short bushwhack to the highpoint. We returned on the Greenway and the road.
In general snow was a few inches of powder over a supportive base. Ayers Pond Peaks' highpoints are recognized. Woods were generally open. |
