Comments
Comments: There were two of us on the trails today. We barebooted Lincoln Woods until the Black Pond trail where we put on snow shoes for the rest of the hike, breaking trail in the 2” a 4” of fresh snow. We mostly used the existing BP whack but did head upwards at one point to get closer to the usual herd path. It is well packed but snow shoes would still be best. It was a little cold (about -5) at the top but clear With good views of Franconia Ridge and the Bonds. A very nice day!
