Had to re-break the trail in with new snow-maybe 2-4inches to start-then it seemed more around 6-8 as elevation increased. Drifting on the steeps seemed to be around a foot maybe more in some areas. (I have a hard time judging amounts). I was solo but thankfully on my exit I ran into Bruce, who was heading up and had been packing down my trail, then 2 others in snowshoes doing the same. (Just in time for More snow ;) ). Plenty of powder for snowshoes though. Beautiful morning out. |
