Comments
Comments: The monorail for the first 1.9 miles is wide and firm. There are also many spots where the snow is gone and it's either rock hopping or bare ground with some mud. Trail going up to the Hut from here is well packed and not eroding very much yet. We barebooted this whole trail.
At the Ridge Trail we put on cramp-ons and they were definately necessary.
Most of this trail is an icy side hill where we had to kick in our steps.
In places there was no actual sign that anyone had been on this trail for a while.
