Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Lot not plowed, but by the end of the day it was fairly packed down. It'd be a bit iffy in a front-wheel drive car, but probably do-able.

Comments
Comments: I wore snowshoes all day, mainly because I didn't want to switch on/off with microspikes.

The Mount Kinsman Trail was well-packed to the junction with Bald Peak (microspikes sufficient).

On the Mount Kinsman Trail from Bald Peak to the junction with the Kinsman Ridge Trail, snowshoes recommended. It's packed down, but still soft, and microspikes will sink in and tear it up a bit.

The Kinsman Ridge Trail from the junction with the Mount Kinsman Trail to South Kinsman is a highway.
