Comments
Comments: Avalon Trail was well packed out. I used shoes going up and spikes going down. Upper portion of the Avalon spur is steep enough to butt sled but the lower parts aren't. Willard in a no-butt sled trail. It's simply not steep enough. All trails are well packed. Views from Avalon and Willard are spectacular. Well worth the trip. I did both peaks in less than 5 hours and I am slow.
