 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The Downes Brook Trailhead lot is plowed white. It can get crowded. The access road is wide enough for only one car (NOT one car each way), so drive carefully. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable) |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The water crossing that the White Mountain Guide warns about is entirely bridged over and easy to cross. The access road that the Guide recommends using to avoid said crossing, however, is covered in snow. This is the season to climb Mt. Potash and not deal with said pesky water crossing. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There were lots of fallen or broken trees but none were actually on the trail. |
